Minister of the Interior Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich visits Foliotec

On Monday 1 August 2011, Minister of the Interior, Dr Hans-Peter Friedrich wasn’t foregoing a visit to Foliotec in Sparneck while on his traditional hike through Upper Franconia.

He had already heard of the award to “Bavaria’s Best 50”.

While on a comprehensive tour of the factory, Friedrich was impressed by the complexity of the technologies at Foliotec. No one assumes such a vast amount of plastics know-how invested in the control panels of a car interior.

Looking into the future, CEO Axel Zuleeg commented on the car interior becoming more of an “oasis” in which one should feel comfortable and free from stress; furthermore, the tendency is towards I-phone-type controls with black-panel technology. Here Foliotec and KH are required to pick up the trail and be part of the technological trends.

Dr Friedrick took leave with the following words: “The last time I visited KH you were still producing mobile phone casings, let’s see what you’ll be doing when I visit again in a few years”.

The minister’s visit is a further recognition of the achievements of Foliotec and the KH Group.
